about speck

speck press was founded by Publisher Derek Lawrence in 2002 with the mission to explore cultures and subcultures through nonfiction books—revealing scenes that are typically invisible to the casual observer. Speck became part of Fulcrum Publishing in 2007. We currently publish around 8 new titles a year, please consult our submission guidelines if you feel that you have a manuscript that would fit our program.
