Steve Brewer

Author and newspaper columnist Steve Brewer has published eleven mystery novels and a humor book. Brewer’s latest crime novels are two standalones, Bullets and Boost. He’s also the author of the comic Bubba Mabry private eye series and two books featuring sportswriter Drew Gavin.

Brewer grew up in Arkansas, but called New Mexico home for nearly two decades before moving in 2003 to Redding, CA. He spent twenty-two years in the newspaper business and still writes a weekly humor column for The Albuquerque Tribune. The column, “The Home Front,” is distributed to hundreds of newspapers nationwide by Scripps-Howard News Service.

Brewer is a board member of Mystery Writers of America and regularly speaks at mystery conventions around the country.
